All in Clare LGFA would like to extend our sympathies to Micheál’s family, friends and wider Gaelic Games Family. He certainly was a friend to us here in Clare travelling down from Dublin to give an After Dinner Speech on one occasion and to act as a judge at one of our fundraisers on another. On both occasions he wouldn’t stay the night but had his son with him to drive him back to Dublin. You might have expected given the journey involved that he would rush home once the gig was over but Micheál was the last to leave the room and wouldn’t go until he had a word or took pictures with everyone who wanted.
